This little country run is proud to be the First International Race certified by ReSport , We continue to be Canada’s first
"Carbon-neutral Half Marathon" receiving 40 out 41 points.

- 2009’s race saved the planet from 7.22 tonnes of CO2e;
- Which is equivalent of traveling by car from Port
Perry, to Rio De Janeiro
- We doubled our carbon credit offsetting to create the
first ever carbon restorative run
- Our race day garbage weighed ½ an oz per person;
- This is the equivalent weight of four quarters.
